The Russian government says it has partially lifted the diesel export ban under agreements reached by Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump. Effective October 10, the decision allows 500,000 metric tons of diesel to be supplied to the global market at this stage. Russian oil companies will immediately begin arranging export contracts in coordination with the government.
