EconomyRussia partially lifts diesel export ban after Trump-Putin deal
Russia has partly lifted its diesel export ban, allowing 500,000 tons to be sold abroad starting Oct. 10. The move followed a deal announced by Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump on Oct. 9. Moscow imposed the ban in July after Ukrainian strikes on oil facilities, and Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said the easing would not affect Russian consumers.
