WorldUS sanctions ICC, which seeks Putin’s arrest, prompting backlash

The U.S. imposed severe financial sanctions on the International Criminal Court on Oct. 9. After a six-month grace period, transactions with the court will be prohibited, and companies that continue dealing with it could face U.S. penalties. Canada and seven other countries issued a joint statement supporting the ICC and opposing the sanctions.
