WorldEU commends Spain’s ‘swift response’ to Ceuta migrant crisis
The European Union has praised what it described as Spain’s “swift response” to the migrant crisis in Ceuta. Spain says around 70,000 of the 72,000 people who entered the enclave illegally last week have been returned to Morocco. The figure represents nearly all of those arrivals. The returns follow a sudden increase in cross-border movement involving Ceuta.
