Brazilian police have recovered eight Henri Matisse illustrations stolen from São Paulo’s Mário de Andrade Library last year and arrested a 44-year-old man. The works, found at a home in São Bernardo do Campo, are valued at about $200,000. Five stolen works by Candido Portinari remain missing.
