PoliticsUK: Nigel Farage beats a trash can in Clacton by-election

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage won back the Clacton parliamentary seat with about 63% of the vote. Comedian Jon Harvey, running in a trash-can costume as Count Binface, won roughly 27%, his strongest result yet. Farage skipped the count over claimed security concerns, while police said there was no credible threat. The win does not end an investigation into an undeclared £5 million gift.
