SportsMinister says EU cannot be trusted to host tournaments after denying gymnasts visas
Russian Sports Minister and Olympic Committee head Mikhail Degtyarev said the Netherlands’ refusal to issue visas to Russian gymnasts for the World Championships was politically motivated and showed EU countries could not be trusted to host international competitions. The championships are scheduled for October 17–25 in Rotterdam.
