PoliticsVance doubts firing-squad execution plan and says he will not watch

US Vice-President JD Vance questioned the Pentagon’s plan to livestream the firing-squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan, saying he was unsure it would happen as planned and would not watch if it were streamed. Hasan killed 13 unarmed US soldiers and injured 32 at Fort Hood in 2009. The execution would be the first military execution in more than 60 years.
