EconomyChina and EU reach deal to ‘moderate’ Chinese car exports
China and the EU have agreed on measures that could cut Chinese electric and plug-in hybrid car exports to the bloc by up to 50%, EU Trade Commissioner Maros Sefcovic said. The sides also agreed to reduce Chinese import duties on €4 billion of EU exports and simplify export licensing for rare earths and permanent magnets. EU leaders must approve the deal.
