EconomyFrance to release 10 million barrels of diesel to curb rising prices
Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu said France would make 10 million barrels of diesel available to distributors to ease pressure on fuel prices. Bought before the recent surge, the diesel will be sold at cost, which he said would automatically cut pump prices by an estimated 12 to 18 cents per litre.
