EconomyFrance to release 10 million barrels of diesel to curb rising prices

French Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu said Wednesday that 10 million barrels of diesel bought before the recent price surge would be made available to distributors at cost. He said this was expected to automatically cut pump prices by 12 to 18 cents per litre.
