EconomyTrump announces $6.6 billion submarine shipyard in Maryland

Donald Trump said the US will invest $6.6 billion in a new Sparrows Point, Maryland, shipyard to make submarines, components and unmanned underwater vehicles. Anduril Industries will build and operate it, investing $3.7 billion, while the US Navy will contribute $2.9 billion. The project is expected to create more than 3,100 Maryland jobs and support another 11,000 nationwide.
