Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed Black Sea safety and contacts between Russia and Ukraine in a phone call. They had previously held talks on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit in Bishkek on September 1, 2026.
