WorldErdogan raises Black Sea safety in call with Putin

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan called Russian President Vladimir Putin on Oct. 7, saying Turkey was ready to help efforts for direct Russia-Ukraine talks and stressing safe navigation in the Black Sea. Erdogan’s office said they also discussed bilateral ties and regional and global issues.
