Russian Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko said Brazil would not leave BRICS after its election because the grouping benefits all members. She said Russia does not interfere in other countries’ internal affairs but hoped foreign manipulators would not intervene in Brazil’s vote. The runoff between President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva and Senator Flavio Bolsonaro is scheduled for October 25.
