TechFrench AI company announces new private model

French tech company Mistral announced its largest open-weight AI model, Le Chonk, officially named Mistral Large 4. It will be released publicly on October 27 and lets users download and customize its weights on their own servers. Mistral says it outperforms some Chinese and other open-weight rivals in certain areas.
