ScienceNobel Prize in physics awarded for ‘ghostly’ cosmic particles
US scientist Francis Halzen has won the 2026 Nobel Prize in physics. The Nobel Committee said he was recognized for his “decisive contributions” to the IceCube Neutrino Observatory and for discovering high-energy neutrinos of astrophysical origin.
