ScienceNobel Prize in Physics goes to Francis Halzen for high-energy neutrino discovery
The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences awarded Francis Halzen the Nobel Prize in Physics for his contributions to the IceCube Neutrino Observatory and the discovery of high-energy neutrinos of astrophysical origin. The committee called neutrinos “ghostly messages from space.”
