The UN Human Rights Council condemned drone strikes and other attacks on civilians in Sudan, warning that the crisis has “no military solution”. It adopted a resolution by 28 votes to 10, with nine abstentions, demanding an immediate, unconditional ceasefire and extending the mandate of the independent mission investigating abuses. The World Food Programme said an airstrike on a food convoy in North Kordofan killed one driver.
