EconomyPutin authorizes UniCredit to restructure and sell its Russian bank
Vladimir Putin has signed an order allowing Italy’s UniCredit to restructure UniCredit Bank in Russia and sell all of its shares. The order permits the bank to spin off a new company and authorizes the purchase of 100% of its shares, removing the need for further approvals. UniCredit had previously announced a preliminary agreement with an unnamed UAE investor.
