TechPentagon stops using Anthropic AI tools after blacklisting company

The US Department of Defence has stopped using Anthropic’s AI products, an official told the BBC, months after Pete Hegseth designated the company a national security supply-chain risk. People familiar with the Pentagon’s work said Claude was still widely used as recently as last week for research, intelligence and military operations against Iran.
