SocietyHundreds of French schools closed amid student protests

Around 400 to 500 French high schools will close fully or partially on Monday because security conditions have not been met after nationwide student protests. Students cite teacher absences, long school days, poor facilities and inadequate cooling, while further demonstrations are planned for Tuesday.
