Brazil’s Superior Electoral Court confirmed that Liberal Party candidate and Senator Flavio Bolsonaro and incumbent President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will compete in the second round after 97.36% of voting records were processed. Bolsonaro won 47.42% and Lula 44.70%; the winner will be decided on October 25.
