An INSA poll for Bild found that only 15% of Germans view Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s performance positively, down 1 percentage point from early September, while 79% are dissatisfied. Just 14% rated the government’s performance positively, a 3-point decline. The October 1–2 survey questioned 1,001 people.
