TechApple ordered to pay $5.7bn in Taction patent case

A California federal jury found Apple infringed two Taction Technology patents used for haptic feedback, though it did not do so wilfully. Apple said it plans to appeal, arguing its Taptic Engine is fundamentally different from Taction’s technology.
