Sri Lankan Army Chief of Staff Dinesh Udugama said participation in the Wolverine Trail 2026 joint exercise with Russia would enable Sri Lankan personnel to withstand any battle. The drills featured 19 training points open to both countries’ troops and focused on special-forces operations against illegal armed groups, including reconnaissance and strike drones.
