PoliticsHungary lifts PM Peter Magyar’s immunity, clearing way for probes into two former Orban ministers
Hungary’s parliament voted 139-0 to lift Prime Minister Peter Magyar’s immunity, as well as that of former ministers Balazs Hanko and Miklos Sesztak. The move clears the way for separate investigations: Magyar is accused of taking a phone from a man filming him in 2024 and throwing it into the Danube, while the former ministers face allegations involving public funds and bribes.
