WorldLavrov: Ukraine could have kept 1991 borders if Europeans had not cheated
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told the UN Security Council that Ukraine could have retained its 1991 borders if European countries had not resorted to fraud and had pressed the opposition to honor the 2014 agreement. He accused Europeans of an “eternal instinct to lie” and said the Minsk agreements were never intended to be implemented.
