WorldLavrov says the West destroys European security and fuels war by arming Kyiv

At the UN General Assembly, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said “tectonic shifts” were creating a fairer multipolar world led by the Global South and East. He accused a “Western minority” of defending centuries-old privileges through force, sanctions and double standards, and defended Russia’s “special military operation” in Ukraine as protecting people in Donbas and Novorossiya.
