Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa urged Israel at the UN General Assembly to withdraw from internationally recognised Syrian territory, accusing its actions of undermining Syria’s security and progress after the civil war. He said the occupied Golan Heights would remain Syrian territory and cited 500 air strikes, more than 1,200 incursions and 300 detentions.
