Syrian President Ahmed Al Sharaa condemned what he called ongoing Israeli attacks on Syrian territory during the 81st UN General Assembly session, insisting that the occupied Golan Heights will remain part of the Syrian state. Sami Al-Arian of Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University offered analysis.
