TechOpenAI gives cyber defence tools to Ukraine
OpenAI will provide Ukraine’s government with its Daybreak AI cyber-defence system at no cost to help protect civilian infrastructure, including hospitals and power plants. The agreement also gives Ukraine access to the GPT 5.6 Sol model. Ukraine recorded nearly 6,000 cyber-attacks in 2025, according to CERT-UA.
