EconomyADB slightly raises 2026 growth forecast for developing Asia-Pacific economies
The Asian Development Bank lifted its 2026 growth forecast for developing economies in Asia and the Pacific to 5%, just above its July projection but below 2025’s 5.5%. It cited domestic demand, government stimulus and resilient technology industries, while warning that energy prices, conflicts, El Niño, trade uncertainty and AI-stock valuation adjustments could weigh on activity.
