Lithuania’s Seimas voted to lift the constitutional ban on deploying nuclear weapons on the country’s territory and sent the amendment to a committee. The initiative passed with 99 votes in favor, 13 against and five abstentions. Two further constitutional votes, requiring 94 of 141 votes, are scheduled.
