Hungarian Prime Minister Péter Magyar called a planned oil storage facility for Ukraine on Hungarian territory a threat and said it would not proceed while the Tisza Party remains in power. Naftogaz and MOL signed a preliminary memorandum for a facility near the Hungarian-Ukrainian border. Hungarian authorities said the government had not authorized the negotiations, while MOL said development would take years.
