More than 116,000 public observers have been trained to monitor Russia’s State Duma elections through 2,634 in-person events held across the country, Civic Chamber official Alexey Peskov said. Voting for the ninth State Duma runs from September 18 to 20, alongside regional legislative and leadership elections.
