The China-Laos Railway transported 3.822 million metric tons of cross-border goods worth 23.38 billion yuan in the first eight months of 2026, according to Kunming Customs. Import and export value increased 31.5% year on year, with notable growth in tropical fruit, machinery and electronics, photovoltaic products and new energy vehicles.
