WorldFormer Kosovo President Hashim Thaci convicted of war crimes
The Kosovo Specialist Chambers convicted former President Hashim Thaci on four war-crimes counts and sentenced him to 25 years in prison. The court said he was involved in murders, torture and illegal detention while serving as a senior KLA commander. Three other former commanders also received prison terms.
