Cross-border renminbi receipts and payments between China and ASEAN reached 9.436 trillion yuan in 2025, up 5.99% year on year, a report from the People's Bank of China’s Guangxi branch said. Goods-trade settlement totaled 2.591 trillion yuan, while CIPS added 41 participants. Six ASEAN countries now have RMB clearing banks.
