A South Korean court fined the operator of Seoul two-Michelin-starred restaurant Evett 10m won and its chief executive, Ginny Kim, 15m won for serving desserts topped with ants not approved for consumption. Prosecutors had sought a one-year prison term for Kim. The restaurant has stopped using ants, and both sides have seven days to appeal.
