WorldCSTO drills in Kazakhstan engage 1,500 personnel, over 300 pieces of weapons
About 1,500 personnel and more than 300 weapons, military and specialized vehicles, including 115 unmanned aerial vehicles, are taking part in the CSTO’s Rubezh 2026 exercise in Kazakhstan. Participants are practicing combat operations to eliminate illegal armed groups that have entered a CSTO member state, with drills adapted to mountainous and desert terrain.
