PoliticsBRICS backs greater participation of developing countries in global structures

The BRICS countries said in the New Delhi Declaration adopted at their 18th summit that they are committed to securing more meaningful participation and representation for emerging markets, developing countries and least developed countries in global decision-making. They also called for timely, equitable geographical representation in the UN Secretariat and other international organizations, including at senior levels.
