CultureBeastie Boys’ Mike D releases first solo LP, ‘Thank You’

Mike D has released his first solo LP, “Thank You.” He became known in the 1980s as a member of New York rap-rock trio Beastie Boys, which later moved beyond frat-boy satire and built a reputation over three decades through beat-making, sampling and studio experimentation.
