At Nepal’s request, China’s Ministry of Emergency Management sent tunnel experts to help with rescue operations at a hydropower station tunnel. Five arrived by helicopter in the disaster-hit area at about 16:58 BJT on Saturday, while four others were traveling to Nepal as the mission intensified.
