TechCourt rules Trump administration illegally blacklisted Anthropic

A judge ruled that the Pentagon’s blacklisting of Anthropic was unconstitutional and amounted to unlawful retaliation under the First Amendment. Northern District of California Judge Rita F. Lin said national security cannot serve as a blank check to punish government critics, and called the company’s supply-chain-risk designation arbitrary and baseless.
