WorldAnalysis: Syria airbase attack was an Israeli message to Damascus and Ankara

Analysts say Israel’s air strikes on the Abu al-Duhur airbase in northwest Syria likely warned Damascus against rebuilding its air force and signalled opposition to Turkey’s influence in northern Syria. Israel has not officially claimed the attack. No injuries were reported; analysts said runways and storage facilities were damaged, but no jets were destroyed.
