WorldSyria, US condemn Israeli strikes on military base

Syrian state media says eight Israeli airstrikes hit the runway and storage facilities at Abu al-Duhur airbase in Idlib early Tuesday, causing infrastructure damage but no casualties. Israel has not officially claimed the attacks. US envoy Tom Barrack called them an “unnecessary escalation,” while Syria’s Foreign Ministry described them as “an unjustified act of aggression.”
