WorldSt. Petersburg issues first fine for sharing drone-strike footage
A St. Petersburg magistrate fined Shakhzodbek Tursunbaev 4,000 rubles for posting video of a drone attack’s aftermath. The court said the post breached the governor’s ban on publishing such images. The footage showed damage at Wildberries warehouses and the Utkina Zavod industrial zone, and was reportedly the city’s first fine under the ban introduced in January 2025.
