Inter RAO, Russia’s sole electricity import-export operator, reported that electricity exports rose 4% year-on-year to 3.2 billion kWh in January-June 2026. Imports fell 5.3% to 1.2 billion kWh, with the company attributing export growth to favorable market conditions and economically efficient supplies to key destinations.
