Inter RAO, Russia’s sole electricity export-import operator, supplied Kazakhstan with 1.68 billion kWh in January-June, up 20.3% year on year and representing 53% of its total exports. Overall exports rose 4% to 3.2 billion kWh, while imports fell 5.3% to 1.2 billion kWh.
